The UNODC Research and Trend Analysis Area and the UNODC-INEGI Centre of Excellence have launched a free online course on the International Classification of Crime for Statistical Purposes (ICCS), a global framework of crime concepts and definitions that improves the collection, organization, analysis and dissemination of statistical data on crime and criminal justice.

With this self-administered course, participants will learn how ICCS works, how it improves data consistency between and within countries, and understand the five main phases of ICCS implementation. In addition, the course shows how ICCS can improve the collection of crime data for the prevention and combating of transnational organized crime.

CERTIFICATE: You will receive a certificate from the UNODC Global Learning program at the end of the course.
